Slow Cooked Chicken
Easy chicken cacciatore type slow cooked winter warmer.

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 8 hrs
  1. Chop carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms, potatoes & basil.
  2. Put carrots, onion, celery, mushrooms and potato in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place chicken on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with pepper, garlic and herbs.
  3. Mix the water, stock, wine, vinegar, sugar and tomatoes together then pour into the slow cooker. Sprinkle with basil and cover.
  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours (if cooking on high add some extra water).
  5. Serve with mixed salad greens and enjoy.
